seol and Lee dong guk?????! r u kidding me? there’s a reason why they’re not playing on the national team anymore… they suck.

  2. aznbeast77 Says:

i totally agree…but i think park-ji sung could also play mid-feild…because he has like 4 lungs lol…so he can run back on defense and offense too, but still he can be really good as a forward too

  3. KRNdude5 Says:

korea has very young and talented people
but we gotta learn how to finish

  4. opert56 Says:

captain park ji sung, i belive in you!

  5. XxWestPopxX Says:

Yeah they usually had elder players but very experienced. Now their finishes have improved.

  6. XxWestPopxX Says:

    well said.

  7. evilfatsh1t Says:

the only reason korea sorta fails in shooting is cause we dont have retards like ronaldo who full go hero mode and take shots
koreans care too much about their image, and so they tend to be careful not to do shit like ronaldo

  8. EP5341 Says:

if you watch carefully in the national team, park ji sung has never had one position in any game (ever since hhe got signed by united that is)
they’re not exaggerating when they say park has 3 lungs; his position in the national team is actually all over midfield, hence our “star player”

  9. EP5341 Says:

better finishers than chu young and keun ho

  10. cheecheepong Says:

what you said at first sounds racist but it actually makes a lot of sense. We Koreans live in a culture where one’s pride and reputation are essentially what defines us. It has caused many problems….

  11. jangsungbaek7 Says:

Dont forget Lee chung yong. I think he could be better than park js. He took beckham one on one and beat him.I think Park CY is great but he’s a playmaker that sets up goals, not scoring. The reason Korea doesnt have a great striker is cuz in korea u have to respect elders, where as ronaldo can take any shot he wants. Even jisung and chu young cant take any shot on the korean team. Korea should bring back Seol or Ahn cuz they can take any shot and the players may not like it but its for the team

  12. ztevo Says:

korea is changing…..and I think the youngsters will really shine in SA. I really hope Seol is back on because even though he may seem lazy, he is good enough in the air and has some decent footy. Lee chung yong is good, but ki seung yong has more potential to become successful. We will have to see.

  13. criticdude19 Says:

the world needs to watch out for korea. their soccer is improving, and they will be a powerhouse within a decade. their emerging star, park chu young and their captain, park ji sung, who is known in europe very well, korea will put on a show like they did in 2002

  14. saengiexX Says:

ki sung yong!! + lee chung yong!! they are korea’s future!

  15. jangsungbaek7 Says:

Yea and I really hope to see Ahn again. After what he did for Korea, it pisses me off so much that KOREAN fans are treating him like crap. But we will have to agree to disagree on the two yongs. Lee has always been overshadowed a bit by Ki because he may be more flahy and taller, but Lee makes great passes, scores some and can take on world class talent players. Just watch the FC seoul vs La galaxy game. And he got signed earlier by the Premier League. Anyways, Peace man

    That’s right, all Korean teens:

    “WE THE FUTAH!!!” :D

    “VEECTORY!!!” >:D

  17. JShawtyKim Says:

I meant we the “Future” for anyone who didn’t get that :o

the korean team now is undisputably much better than from WC 2006. completely different team, but much more aggressive, creative and play with more energy. and how is the fifa ranking so much lower than 06 despite this? the overall world level of play could not have improved by that much. oh well the rankings are bs anyways. i do think korean football hit the bottom between 06 and 07. I was embarrassed to watch any of their games with anyone back then, the most plain and boring football ever

  20. playcut2pieces Says:

but ji sung park was right when he said korea has to be successful in a much bigger stage to deserve to be called the best in Asia such as the Asian cup. beating australia 3-1 with none of their star players is not enough. Sometimes the Korean press really do blow things out of proportion with their random statements that don’t mean anything except to feel better about themselves, self-complimenting every chance they get, and never self-criticize. Koreans really need to start being modest again

  21. playcut2pieces Says:

And also, if the KFA don’t start doing their jobs, they’ll fail miserably in 2010, and its gonna fuel so many to keep calling ‘02 just a home luck. Japan plays against top quality teams to prepare themselves every int’l week, and KFA gets a game against australia who didn’t even bring their best players(that was embarrassing) And Senegal? are you kidding me? and skipping every other int’l week? while even north korea is abroad in Europe? all the KFA people need to get replaced for doing nothing

  22. nycoolj3 Says:

let’s see you go pro, you fat prick. LOL.
